Middle East Unit

You will be giving a speech on the Middle East in class. Speeches START April 12th. Make sure you are well prepared.

You need to know the 22 countries in "Find It! The Middle East and North Africa" by April 18th.

After you have mastered that work on the links to the right of the blog. There will be a Traveler's IQ challenge soon. Be prepared!

Russia Unit!

For the Russia Unit you need to memorize Find It Russia! There is also another Russia game to practice.

You need to memorize the countries of Europe by February 23rd. Practice using Sheppard's Software. Then try to do Statetris in under 3 minutes. There are other Europe games to try as well.

What is Geography? Why is it important?

Geography is the study of the people and landscape on the earth. It is one type of Social Studies class. We only live on one planet, so we should know what is on it and what all the parts are like. The world is becoming increasingly interconnected and what happens in other countries effects us here in the United States. The purpose of this class is to understand what is going on in the world. Current Events, History, Science, Economics, and Political Science are all part of this class. Come join the adventure!!!
